The dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to WorkflowMaps. It gives you access to all your maps and the tools to organise them by client and project.

LEFT SIDEBAR

The left sidebar has three main elements.

Search

Type any map name to find it instantly. Useful once you have maps across multiple clients and spaces.

Spaces

Spaces are folders. Create one per client and keep all their maps inside it. When you click a space, the right panel filters to show only the maps within it. To create a new space, click the + icon next to Spaces in the sidebar.

Tags

Tags work across spaces. You might tag maps as "Operations", "Marketing", or "Finance" regardless of which client they belong to. Clicking a tag shows all maps with that label across every space. A map can have more than one tag.

RIGHT PANEL

The right panel shows your map list. Each entry displays the map name, the space it belongs to, and the date it was created and last edited. Click any map to open it in the mapper.

HOW SPACES AND TAGS WORK TOGETHER

Spaces organise by client. Tags organise by process type. Used together, they let you find maps in two different ways: "show me everything for this client" or "show me all onboarding processes across all clients."

A practical setup for most users is one space per client, with tags applied to identify the process category.

CREATING A MAP FROM THE DASHBOARD

Click Create New at the top of the dashboard to start a new workflow map. See the article "Creating a New Map" for a full walkthrough of that process.
