Running a Report

FixFlow is the analysis engine inside WorkflowMaps. Once your workflow is mapped with time and cost data, it generates a data-driven report in approximately 30 seconds that surfaces bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

BEFORE YOU RUN

You need at least 3 steps with time and cost data entered before you can generate a report. If fewer than 3 steps are complete, the system will prompt you to add more data first.

A complete map with all steps filled in will produce the most accurate report. You can run a report on a partially complete map, and the tool will warn you about any missing data before generating.

STEP BY STEP

1. Open the FixFlow panel in the left sidebar (the FixFlow icon).

2. Click "Run FixFlow Analysis."

3. Choose your report mode: Delegation or Automation. See the separate articles on each mode for guidance on which to choose.

4. Review any warnings about missing data. You can proceed even if data is incomplete.

5. Click Generate.

6. The report appears in the history panel below in approximately 30 seconds.

7. Click View to read the report in full, or Download to save it as a PDF.

CHOOSING A MODE

Delegation mode: assumes a founder or senior person is currently doing the work. Identifies tasks that should be handed off to someone else and calculates the opportunity cost of not doing so. Best when you want to show a client where they can take work off their plate.

Automation mode: looks for where tools, integrations, and automations could replace manual effort. Surfaces specific automation opportunities with suggested tools and implementation effort ratings. Best when you want to scope a systems or automation project.

You can run both modes on the same workflow. They produce different reports from the same underlying data. Running both gives you two perspectives and lets you choose which is most relevant to what you want to propose, or combine the strongest recommendations from each.

REPORT HISTORY

Every report you generate is saved in the FixFlow history panel. You can return to view or download any past report at any time. Each entry shows the date, the mode used, and a summary of the key metrics. You can run multiple reports on the same workflow over time as you refine the map or as the client's situation changes.

QUALITY DEPENDS ON MAP QUALITY

FixFlow analyses what you give it. A map with vague step names, missing people assignments, and incomplete time data will produce a vague and less useful report. A detailed, accurate map produces a precise, actionable report with realistic figures. Invest the time in building a good map and the report will reflect that.
